Privacy at LangOnce

Information we collect

• Account details such as your email address, username, display name, bio, and profile image.
• Your chosen languages, level, saved words, practice attempts, streaks, and progress.
• Content and social activity you choose to share, including reactions, comments, follows, and reports.
• Basic device, browser, IP, request, and error data needed to operate, secure, and improve the service.
• A browser push subscription only if you explicitly enable notifications.

How we use information

• Provide passwordless sign-in, learning activities, progress, and social features.
• Personalize language and level recommendations.
• Prevent abuse, investigate reports, maintain reliability, and understand aggregate product usage.
• Send account or push messages you request. LangOnce does not sell personal information or use it for targeted advertising.

Service providers and disclosure

We use infrastructure, storage, email-delivery, analytics, and security providers to run LangOnce. They may process only the information needed to provide those services. We may disclose information when required by law, to protect users or the service, or as part of a business transfer.

Your choices

You can update your profile, disable push in your browser or profile, and permanently delete your account from Settings. You can also ask about your data at contact@langonce.com.

Retention, security, and children

We keep information while your account is active and as reasonably needed for security, legal, backup, and fraud-prevention purposes. No online service can guarantee absolute security. LangOnce is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
